I can a lot. Just did cukes, beans and eggs/sausage. Beets and carrots are coming next week and will be canned.
We recently bought half a steer (in freezer) and a whole hog is coming late next week (frozen from the butcher).
Big game season opens here in a couple of months, and we will hopefully harvest a young moose and at least one deer (whitetail or mulie). Those will go to the freezer.
Organization is key, and vacuum sealing is my preference.
I am so glad the two of you have made a connection. If you fancy being featured in this new series and allowing us a peek into your freezer, it would be great. This is the form to complete. https://forms.gle/hWxw9UjqvCT2dYyb6
Hey! Midcoast islander here. Nice to see another Mainer.

We have two uprights and one chest freezer.
For canning, I can always build more shelves. 😂
That’s great stuff. I have to organize/repack at least a few times a year, especially before/after hunting season.
We’re on the same wavelength. 😎

Now I’m going to be singing “chest freezer” to the tune of “Chest Fever” by The Band all day
Well this has to be the most interesting freezer report on Substack John.
