Hello
I hadn’t planned on doing another post, but decided to create a survey (see button below), which I will post in Chat before I go away for a few days. That way, when I return, I can gather a few ideas of what to do next.
Just because FoodStak is a hobby for me doesn’t mean I shouldn’t do a good job. It’s pointless if what I write isn’t of interest to anyone, and it certainly needs to be joyful enough for me to keep it going. If you are a new subscriber, this post will give you a little background as to why I am doing this survey.
Substack could eventually go the way of other social media platforms, eg ads in Notes etc., which can be annoying, and is why I want to build my own website away from Substack, but still use Substack as a newsletter. Confusing, I know, it took me a while to get my head around that one.
I would appreciate it if you could spare a few minutes to complete this survey, sharing with me what you would like to see and read. And add any thoughts you may have.

A Little About Me.
I have had several websites over the past 16 years of blogging/writing, written two cookbooks and am a member of the Guild of Food Writers.
I am not a trained chef, nor a trained nutritionist. I am simply a home cook who enjoys baking and supporting other home cooks, food writers and bloggers while trying to bring everyone together.
Constructive criticism is welcome. After all, that’s how we learn and grow. Sometimes you just need to throw caution to the wind and see what happens.
